Atty. Buendia excelled in her academic pursuits, obtaining her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Asia and the Pacific in 2023, where she was distinguished as the Class Valedictorian. Her time in law school was marked by significant professional experiences. She undertook a legal internship at a regional trial court in Makati, where she had the unique opportunity to work under the direct supervision of a judge. Additionally, she contributed her skills and compassion to an NGO focused on advocating for children’s rights. To further broaden her practical understanding of the law, she worked as a paralegal, gaining valuable exposure to both litigation and corporate practice.
Her academic excellence began earlier in her educational journey. In 2019, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Tourism from the University of the Philippines-Diliman, achieving the prestigious Latin honors of Magna Cum Laude. Her academic prowess was further highlighted by receiving the Best Undergraduate Thesis Award.
Since joining the legal profession, Atty. Buendia has gained experience across various areas of practice, including corporate law, taxation, labor, civil and criminal litigation, administrative proceedings, and special projects. Her professional engagements have also provided her with exposure to alternative dispute resolution. Beyond addressing immediate legal concerns, she strives to help clients anticipate issues and make decisions grounded in sound legal judgment.
