Jasfer Alain P. Tagacay is a Junior Partner whose practice area involves various litigation matters in criminal, civil, and commercial cases.
He holds a Juris Doctor Degree from De La Salle University – College of Law and earned both his Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and Minor Degree in English Literature from the Ateneo de Manila University. While taking up his law studies, he had his legal internship at the Office of the Solicitor General under the Felix Angelo Bautista Division and had significant exposure in handling criminal and family law cases. To gain extensive experience in the legal field, he joined the firm in 2020 as an Underbar Associate after graduating from law school. He passed the 2020/2021 Bar Examinations with Exemplary Performance and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022.
Throughout his law practice with the Firm, Jasfer has honed his litigation expertise handling a diverse array of clients and high-stakes civil and criminal disputes. This legal expertise extends to various areas such as representation for the defense in criminal cases before the Ombudsman & the Sandiganbayan, Anti-Money Laundering cases, property disputes, complex labor disputes, Naturalization Cases, whether administrative or judicial, among others. Aside from Litigation, Jasfer has vast expertise in handling other commercial transactions/special projects, including but not limited to extrajudicial settlement of estate, title transfers, and compliance with government regulatory bodies, ensuring smooth legal processes
Jasfer contributes to the Firm’s efforts in its social responsibility initiatives by managing public interest cases/activities in partnership with several legal aid clinics, local government units, and the Integrated Bar.
